What about the flag man not being on the ball and not red flagging the rig when he SHOULD had saw the weight box not moving?

They had a bad sled malfunction at the last pull I was at, when the operator was backing it up to the line, the brakes gave out and the tranny locked into reverse and the ol Cummins runnin the said I'm not slowing down. He rammed it right into a tree where there were many were hangin around. Luckily they were all paying attention and got the hell outa the way. Scarey stuff....

A tractor puller in europe died a while back because the wheight was not engaged. Hit the end the track and came to a quick stop. The weight free slid up the sled broke off the stops and crushed teh tractor with him in it.
