Default hitch advice

So, Last week i ordered a 28' V nose horton hauler enclosed car trailer. it will have twin 7k dexters under it. My question is, do i need a load leveling hitch or would a standard one work?

Hey Jeff
I would probably get the load levelers on your hitch and the sway control too. I don't know how your truck is set up for pulling a trailer but get the stuff from a reputable dealer. I occasionally pull a single car trailer with mine with no levelers or sway control but mine's a DRW truck so it pulls well without the added stuff. You need to watch how you load the trailer. A 28' is a long single car and too short for a two car trailer. You're gonna have a lot of room ahead of the axles. Don't run the car all the way to the nose and drive away like that. Put the load on the trailer axles instead of the hitch. Keep your axles aligned on the trailer too and you'll be alright.
Just my thoughts here.
Stay safe out there.

Thanks Ken,

What do you mean by keep the axles aligned? Also will it come aligned from the factory?
