Default The Neighbor Called My Dad.

He tells Dad he bought a trailer and his truck wont pull it. Asks if he can get my truck and pull it for him. Dad asks me and say go ahead... After dad left I started wondering how damn big of a trailer did Ken buy? He is a contractor so I wasnt thinking much of it until I got to thinking he only has the Chevy Avalanche he drives every day. I hear dad pull up and walk outside. As soon as dad sees me he starts saying man, you shoulda seen what he wanted me to pull! I looked in Ken's back yard and said "That aint it is it?!". Dad said Hell yeah! I asked dad how they got it there, he said "With your truck!". It was a damn Single wide house trailer!

We used to pull house trailers around with a 1 ton Chevy van at work. The tounge weight is over what your legal at but the weight is no problem for these trucks. The big legal issue is the width and being insured for commercial use.

It is impressive to see goin down the road though. Tell em to get pictures next time.

1 ton pickups will easily pull a house trailer, almost all of the weight is balanced on the axles, i set house trailers for many years....
