My Buddy's Gramps bought his 90 W250 new in 89 and put 600K on it by the time he passed in 07. The truck pulled a horse trailer all over the US.

My first gen has 235K and is still running perfect

I will accept that the stock autos are crap but the alison had had more than a few problems and as far as I am aware Cummins is not having injector or head problems unlike the dmax. But I did not start this thread to argue with anyone. If you will look at the top of the thread you will notice a pole that it why I started this. I think that the Cummins is winning out.

91 2wd just a shade over 600K when speedo quit working. Truck was parked for 2 years after he got another one cause it would not start. Ended up the starter contacts were bad. He has workers that drive the truck daily now at about 150 miles a day 6 days a week. Probably got 700k on it now. Parking brake let go and truck hit a tree. He had truck fixed and before he left the bodyshop he took out a peice of pipe and hit the front fender cause he wanted to be the first to put a dent in the truck this time.

92 2wd Well over 500k pulled the oil pan a few months ago to replace the rods and mains and oil pan gasket cause it was leaking. Saw the bearings and decided against it put the truck back together

90 4wd 305k last week and still on the same TRANSMISSION. doesn't get drove over 35 mph ever cause it works everyday on a dairy farm.
