I have towed goosenecks with 4" and 37's many times, my bed rail height must be around 48-56" or so...

It's gonna put a good tilt on the trailer deck and make it hard on the stock on longer hauls cause they will be standing uphill. Not so bad with a livestock trailer as it would be with an actual horse trailer and the longer the trailer the less affect it will have.

Iv got a 6.5 inch lift with 37's and i can pull a goose neck flat bed fine. It does tilt pretty bad but no problems so far but idk how it would be pulling live stock but im sure as low as your truck is you should have no problems.

The man said the bed height was fourty inches from the ground. The main thing that concerned me would be pinch problems with the bed

well we're just talkin a gooseneck here. never done it but couldn't you just shorten the length from hitch point to the top. like the pole where it hitches to the ball? shorten that and flatter ride? could be done pretty easy right?

Shorting the neck will make the trailer flattin out but it increases the chance of pinching the bed and neck of the trailer
