you control the pressure in the bags, its not one of those things where you pump it up and leave it, keep it about 5 to 15psi when empty and depending on the load will tell you how much psi you need in the bags

80 loaded.I don't mind a rough ride.it's how trucks are suppose to be.

80 loaded.I don't mind a rough ride.it's how trucks are suppose to be.
I completely disagree with that statement. Its the way truck were for years, but not how they are "supposed" to be. Things change, technology advances, and good things can come from it. I took out my overloads, and reduced the amount of springs in my main pack. Offers a very comfortable ride, close to a half ton truck. I have air bags, so anytime I need to haul I run my compressor to support the load. 10psi empty, 40 psi with my holiday trailer, and that's about all I need.

I have a st of air lift but have not had the time to install them yet. there instructions are kind of vage do you what the axles just hanging when you do the install ot have it on jack stands for the right instill height? (97 f-250 sc lb 4x4)

You can jack it up to get some more room for turning wrenches....Install the bags with no lines connected so they compress easy. It takes longer to run the lines than it does to mount the bags.

I have the Firestone ride-rites, but the install should be very similar.

Ok thanks that my next project after I get the truck back form the motor rebuild. I cracked the front cover so the motor had to come out so I figured at 298.000 mile might as well freshen it up.
