You will need to find an insurance broker that sells Commercial Policies to cover not just the trailer but the truck towing it and what ever you plan to haul.
You will need to set up some sort of LLC to limit your personnel exposure in case of accidents or damage to whatever you are hauling due to your negligence or someone else's. You will also need insurance for this LLC.
Your truck may need to be licensed with Commercial Carrier tags. (This varies from state to state) Check with your local DMV.
You will need Federal DOT numbers and Company signage applied to your truck and or trailer.
You will need Federal and State TAX numbers.
Have you figured out what your local hauling rates are per car? You will need to sit down and figure out how many loads you will need to turn every month, with the equipment you plan on using, to cover all of your costs.
This is just my "TWO CENTS" at a glance. Don't let it freak you out.

If you haul other that cars meant for the scrap use straps to chain or just full strap plus straps are lighter and can hold more than chain
Hell in the last year my cousin has hauled 257 cars all over the US hauling "hot shot" loads and private jobs all he uses is straps!
just my .02 Cents
