Default Towing and Recovery

How many on this board own a Towing and Recovery business?
There is one for sale in my town, wondering if it is worth checking farther into.

Insurance is going to be the main thing to look at and also dealing with owners.

Every locality is different for the legal requirements here. You would have to see what the is required in the way of insurance, bonding and yearly license fee's to even come close to evaluating this. A good place to start is the Secretary of State since they handle business licensing as well as the motor vehicle stuff to.

I am in the biz. I drive an 09 and 08 International w/ slideback and a 2010 Ford Wrecker. Also have a 2005 Ford 4x4 w/ dual winches.

I cant help much with MI state laws being in Ohio BUT i can answer general operational info and such. We do recovery work for AAA, and local/highway police too.

I also did some time as a 19Kilo, if that what your SN represents!
