Alright, I've started a new build on an early 04 CTD DRW 4X4 and my goal is to build a bullet proof haul truck to be grossly overloaded...............Like 40k................before all the haters come out about overloading my truck, well I really dont have a good comeback, I just dont care, its a way of life in my part of the woods, I wont discuss the cons of running heavy, just good parts idea's. It will need to be a daily driver with most time under trailer, and pull loads from sometimes muddy fields. here we go,,,,,,,

Here's what I have so far

gauges - FP, BST, EGT

tires/wheels - 245/70R19.5 LRG(aka 14 ply all steels) grippers on all 6

cooling - Flexalite electrics, work really well, already been fire tested

Chip - VanAaken C3.2 - not happy with it but it was free so good for now

Exhaust - fact strait pipe

Intake - BD box with Nanofiber filter

Thinking -

5In Exhaust
Programming by a company still is business
Water/Meth
SB dual disk - stock is holding for now
Good towing single charger - need advice
ride rites - now looking a kelderman 4 link but wow its spendy
Very mild sticks

Now if anybody has any idea's or things they have used to help I would love to hear it

really dont think you'll need water/meth, a chip i would go with a smarty or get the adrenaline when it is released, or the tried and true edge juice w/attitude. get some airbags for under neath that thing or you'll be saggin like a ****...and the clutch i would get either a 3250 or 3600 clutch or call and talk to peter and see what he recommends. and a 62 is a good towing turbo...

The Smarty for that low end power is a must especially for the field work.

I don't like the straight pipe, they've been proven to lose HP through the years.

RV275 injectors. They add enough fuel to keep things rollin good and keep EGT's down. A good compromise and inexpensive.

I push loads of up to 35,000 on my 2500 truck through hay season. From my experience, and I can't tell you why the front end was the big issue. This was with a gooseneck. I had to do a total front end rebuild last year that finally fixed these issues up.

I got more for ya. I'm gonna get ya some pics and send them to ya for a rear end project also. Don't cost much of nothin but has made a huge difference in my load capabilities but I want to somebody else to try it out under heavy loads and test it before we send it out to the public. Don't wanna be responsible for somebody jackin somethin up if there is some un forseen problem with it.
