Default A few extra bucks..

I have an 03 Duramax & want to see if it's worth it using it to make a few bucks. I had heard that some of the camper/rv manufacturers use private guys to deliver trailers.

Does anyone have any info on this? I'm wondering if the extra mileage, wear & tear is worth the money.

Im sure you would have to have a legitimate business liscense and the proper insurance (probaly 1 million in liability mininum) for anyone to even consider you for that.....alot of expense to start for sure......just a factor to consider.....if you find out different and get some leads that you cant handle on the east coast, let me know......I could use some EXTRA (which ive never heard of) cash as well!

You can make fair money if you push hard. We maintain 2 different hot shot fleets that haul campers and trailers. They are getting around 1.45 a mile. They get a back haul about 50% of the time. In short you can make a little but you wont get rich and expect to put 15k miles per month on your truck.

Sent with a Droid RAZR in one hand and 14,000 volts in the other.

no problem man like i was saying we have alot of first hand experance with hot shot trucks. a couple of them have had great luck one truck made it over 300k before he had any major repairs but from 300k-430k it has had a transmission, injectors, and its in now for an engine rebuild because of broken piston rings. between the two different fleets we have atleast one of them here all of the time doing something to it.
