I have run treadright tires on most all off my trailers and for the most part never an issue. This company is the best in the business bar none. The Issue is that even with the best retread failure rates are higher. In most states retreads are Illegal for use on steering axles because of this. I cant bring myself to use them on my daily driver and anything I will be traveling in. For an offroader, a trailer or a run around town vehicle you cant beat them for the price.

The only thing I see about them is the rubber is kind of soft. I can't see high miles out of these. My brother in law has the mt's on his dodge. One of them didn't balance real well. I'm getting ready to order a set for the rear of my twd cummins. Regular tire prices scare me to death.
as far as steer tires go its only illeagal for big rigs. Ive blown steer tires before in my old f150 and its not as bad as you may think but Im sure it could be worse, and those tires were factory goodyears so I guess time will tell

I ordered a set of 2 Treadwrights for my 250 powerstroke. I have new tires on the front, but the back tires are BALD. They should arrive today. I have heard nothing bad about these tires. I looked up retread laws in Texas and the only thing I could find was that it was illegal to use them on the steer axle of a Bus. I am looking forward to my new tires. I have heard that these tires regularly get 50 - 80k out of them. I guess it is all in how you drive.
