Default tie rods

Hello, quick question. How much play should tie rods have?
I'm dealing with death wobble. I just installed new tires seemed to help but I'm not convinced its fixed, steering feels loose.
appreciate the help.

none! nothin on the steering should have any play. if the box has some its not a big deal but the tie rods, idler, pitman all that should have 0 play up and down or side to side.

Check your trac bar too... Thats always a HUGE cause of death wobble. Not as much in 3rd gen Rams but it def still contributes!
