Best All-Terrain Tires?
#31
Yea, a lot of people have really like the Hankooks. I just haven't heard anything regarding treadlife. The people that have them have all had them for maybe 4000 miles at most. But, the reviews are very good for road noise and mud/trail traction.
Looks like I am not buying anything from 4wheelparts.com anymore. Haha gotta love the fact just being a dick to 3 or so customers can kill your business. Not a very stand-up way to do business if you asked me.

I ordered my rims and Hankooks from Discount Tire Direct.
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/direct/home.do
They were a deal at the time. Mounted and balanced. They balance the rim first then mount the tires and balance the combo.
I'm not happy with the wear I'm getting, but that is probably due in part to my lead foot.
The wheels and tires came balanced for DTD. I'm hoping to get through winter with them and replace them in the spring. I think I'm going BFG's this time around. I like the Toyo's, but everytime I get a quote, they are back-ordered.
Anyway. That's my $.02 on the hankooks...

Sorry. I have a little over 7000 miles on them and a little less than half the tread depth I started with.
That includes several events in which I lost traction in the parking lot at work and twice in my own driveway. Not sure what happened, but it created a lot of smoke....

yea i had a set of 315/75/16 hankook dynapro m/t rt03`s....as far as traction the tires were good in everything i had em in. now for the bad. 2 of the 4 tires had a wobble i could not get rid of and tread life was a joke. by the time i got them off the truck they had 3/32 tread left on em and they had about 18,000 miles on em.they did not even make it 1 year on my truck and i rotated em every 3,000 miles because of how quick they were wearing. i took them to a hankook dealer and asked them to do something because there is something wrong. and hankook said tuff. the problem was not with the tire but with my truck. my reply to that was first off i take pride in my truck and there is nothing wrong with it. second if there was something wrong with my truck the tires would not be wearing even. and the tech agreed with me and stood in my corner however hankook still said tuff...
as far as 4wheel parts add me to the list of people who had problems with em charging my card and never shipping the product. i will never order from them again...
like i said before i am now running the pro comp A/T `s in a 315/75/16 and i am very happy with the tire. this is my 4th set of pro comps and 2nd set of A/T`s. the tire runs perfect down the road and they are not even balanced. snow and wet traction is great. and 50,000 mile tread life warranty you cant beat that espically if you get the buy 3 get 1 free deal....which they should be offering they do every year around xmas....

Yea, a lot of people run BFG's and get incredible mileage. But since there's no way I am buying from 4wheelparts.com I have no clue how I could get a deal on those to since I will have to buy rims as well.
Does anyone know anything about the Hankook Dynapro MT, someone recommended them to me and I have read a lot about how good they are.
