ive got a 2002 chevy silverado ext cab 2wd. Well i have a 5.9 cummins i want to swap into it. Has anybody ever converted one of these trucks to 4wd. I know skymanufacturing sells the sas kit that will work for 2wd, i just need some info on the steering situation. my truck has rack and pinion, do the 1999 and newer 4wd trucks have steering boxes like the older style chevys?
