Default 2 inch spacers and blocks

I am putting a 2" lift on my 2500 and would like to know, will I need aftermarket shocks? Its a free lift from a friend, he got a bigger lift and 35" tires, If i do need new shocks any ideas on brands and places to get them cheap?

2 inches is the dividing line. For 2 inches and less the stock shock length is good. For more then 2 inches you need longer shocks. I personally used the stock length until they wore out when I put the 2 inches on my truck and then i replaced them with a longer set. Billstein all the way.
