Default Spare Tire

I have bigger tires on my truck now, (315's) but i forgot the spare. Whats your opinion the running a stock spare. I guess if needed its better than nothing. Should it go on the front or back also?

My guess would be the rear.

If you have any type of limited slip/locker in the rear it's not recommended running a smaller tire for any great distance. I guess it depends on the situation.
