Ok so I am wanting a leveling kit to get rid of the 2wd look and I'm wanting to know whatwould look best. I don't wanna go too high and
It look stupid I want
It to be nice and level and do I need different shocks? And
What about the coil springs?? Thanks!

 

I've seen spacers for Dodges that go above the coil. I did an add-a-leaf on my Super Duty and left the OEM shocks in place. When I went to 3 inch spring hangers for the 5 inch lift, I got Nitrogen shocks in the kit, they are REALLY stiff.

If your Dodge has a factory 5 inch block, try putting in a 3 or 4 inch block instead of lifting up the front.

Leveling kits are all fine and dandy until the day you load up your truck or put that heavy trailer on and it puts the nose in the air! I now prefer mine with a little rake to it.

 

Hmmmmm that eluding be good hahahah! Wow go above??? So you spying have to change the shocks out! Sweet! And yeah I don't wanna go too high just level it out. Sometimes but rarely do I put a heavy load on it.

 

Both Kore Suspension and Skyjacker(theirs are the D25 coils) have coils that will level out the front end.

You could use the spacers from about any of the major suspension companies to do the same.I prefered the Skyjacker coils as they cost as much as the spacers did when I did them.

Karls03 has a point if you tow alot and want to level.On mine after leveling the front and seeing it in photos from some shows afterwards I did NOT like the look at all.It then looked like the front was a tad higher and it annoyed me.So what did I do,instead of removing the coils as I had gone to the longer shocks and a double shock mount up front,I raised the rear 3 inches with the addition of one more ply of spring.It then put the finished product sitting like it was from the factory again(about 1" higher in the back than the front) and had the truck up enough for plenty of clearance for the 315's.It still sits and rides that way today some 3 years later,1 inch higher in the rear than the front.

Remember when you level the front end also to place a tube on your A/C drain so the water continues to drain out and does not blow back into the truck and soak the floor.This is a common problem of a leveled/lifted truck and is overlooked by many.

The ac tube what if I raise up the front a little and the back so that it will still have a slant but be higher

When I leveled the front I did the A/C drain tube and when I raised the rear I never took it off.Its still on the A/C drain and unles it falls off sometime I will not be able to answert that question.
