dropping the rear

how do i drop the rear to level out my 2wd

First, remove any blocks the factory may have put in, or replace with a shorter block. The next, way to drop the rear would be to add longer shackles. Because the shackles point up, longer ones will lower the truck. You may need to add a degree shim (inserted from the front) as longer shackles will crank the pinion down. If you need to drop it more, I would look for a re-location bracket/hanger for the forward leaf spring hanger. However, you're next purchase after doing this may be a set of air bags over the leaf spring when loaded up.

CORRECTION! That degree shim would go in from the back, skinny part forward. I got a little ahead of myself there.
