But the alcoas are polished aluminum I heard that if you don't stay on top of them they will look terrible and like corode or something ya know? And I thought 17 inch tires were super expensive???

No prob... again it all depends on what you use your truck for. We pull our toy haulers out to the sand for camping and the 19.5 or 22.5 suck because the tire is so hard they will not "float" when aired down so no traction and you sink. Also I find that all of use with a dually would love to gain the BEST possible ride and you will not get that going to a heavy load, stiff side wall tire. I am sitting on 17"s (not my prim choice but I am running 3600lbs rated tires and they are enough for what I do and my unloaded ride is great. Keep in mind I have other suspension mods for ride but anything that works against what you want to have in the end is what you need to think about.

Hate to say it but 17's are your best bet but duallys don't have much to chose from in design and styles.

One thing you might look at to help out with the ride quality would be a set of Deaver rear springs. A good set of progressive rate rear springs will make a world of difference over a single rate spring. I put a set on the dually I had years ago and the difference was night and day.

i agree with him put a little lift on it and get 22.5 and put semi tires on it but you would have to get 10 bolt conversions adapters
