Default general hauling recommendation

ordering a set of mickey thompson M/t classic II wheels 16x10 with a -27mm offest. thinkin either pro comp radial all terrains or goodyear wrangler AT extremes. now i wanna go big but dont want balloons. what height and width or even a totally different tire is holding up best with everyone else?

Well the width of the wheel is what makes them "balloonie". When you get up into the 17-18 sizes there are more options for skinnier yet taller sizes. I wouldnt go over that. i would like a 35x 9ish tire..but i agree with dieseldoctor, 10ply is the way too go..
