Default WILL 24" ALCOA RIMS LOW PROFILE TIRES BE OK TO HAUL

I haul a 14000lb 40ft 4 horse gooseneck trailer with LQ and I just purchased a 99 F350 dually with 24" Alcoa rims and low profile tires, the truck has adjustable air (bag) suspension, I would like to ask you knowledgable ones the following:

A) Will it be safe to haul this trailer on these wheels

B) The Tires state 50 PSI max, what pressure should I use

B) what pressure I should put in the suspension

Thanks

David

brand of tires and air bags? Is it a full air bag setup or just bags between the leafs and chassis? What do the tires say they are rated to? What brand are the 8 to 10 adapters?

The wheels will hold the weight, the adapters are the questionable part.

what does the tire say as far as load rating? if it is not 'E' or 'H' i wouldn't tow with them. it sounds as if they are not rated for use on a heavy hauler like your truck because ive never put less than 80 psi in class E tires. as for the rims alcoa makes semi truck rims so they should be fine as long as your tires don't fail.
As for the suspension system is it a costom lift, lowering, or load handleing helper?

The tires are cooper Zeon x57, 305/35/sr24, E4 max load 7300, the air bags are between the leaves and chassis, Not sure about the adapters where can I find them?

all the ones I've seen say 100 psi max, and always leave 10-15 in them (iirc) or they may tear.

I just looked up your tires from cooper tires. They dont have a normal load rating (ie: E(10 ply), H (12 ply)). they do say they are XL rated which means they have a stiffer sidewall. so according to the load rating on your tire, 2649 lbs, all of you tires combined have a a total weight limit of 15894 lbs. which when you subtract the weight of your truck (rough est. of 7200lbs that leaves you with 8694lbs for passengers, cargo, and the weight of that gooseneck in the bed. it may be ok now that i look at the numbers. as for those airbgs ive hauled 15k (30 ft vnose trailer w 3 heavy powder sleds and gear) without airbags in my 350 without them and its like the rear is level with the front.
