Ideas on new wheels
Hey everyone, im looking into getting a new set of wheels with my tires after i lift my truck. Im going to start out open in any size wheel and see what everyone says, i will then narrow it down to majority or what i feel is appropriate. Heres what i plan on doing with the truck
DD - street queen
Farm use - field work, gravel roads, muddy/snowy situations
Trail driving - mud, dirt, sand, all the normals with trails
Snow/Ice - deep wet heavy snow, deep powder, ice, ROAD SALT
Basically, i want a wheel that is a good size to be doing this all with and not have to worry about damaging it or anything. Im looking for a 10" wide wheel but anything in the area from 8" to 12" will do im sure.
As far as wheel looks and size, i want something unique, something that looks awesome, performs awesome and makes people take double takes and go WHOA!
As far as color, i thought black wheels on a silver truck with black accents would look awesome, but in other cases, black wheels are harder to come by in multiple sizes and i may just end up going chrome/polished alum.
With all this info given, tell me what your wheel suggestions would be for my truck. Tire size will be 37x12.5 to 14.5 and i will leave wheel size blank for now. All wheel suggestions are open for now.

Go shiney....black is for space saver spares. I usually try to stick with Weld Racing. They are forged instead of cast. They're strong and you have to really gouge them to not be able to polish em out. But since american racing bought them out, they're pretty scarce. As far as size...I really hate big diameter wheels on a truck.(personal opinion) I'd go with 16x10s with standard offset or maybe 17x9s depending on what tires you decide to go with. Make sure to check load ranges when you look for tires...a lot of 37s and up aren't rated to carry a Cummins around.

personally, i think the weld super singles just BELONG on big trucks. something about them. they run about $225 each. plus they're rated for trucks like ours. be careful buying a cast wheel if you're going to be towing or hauling some weight. people will jump on here and tell you they run cast wheels all day without problems. a lot of people do and i consider them lucky but most people that run a cast wheel never haul or tow. hauling and towing loads with cast wheels are a different story and weight ratings should be adhered to.
take a look at national tire and wheel

and tyres international
http://www.tyres1.com/
you can't go wrong buying from either one. they're tire/wheel package prices are pretty respectable too.

If you decide to go with a black wheel, check these out. It's what I put on with my Hankooks. (My son loves Hot Wheels)
