toyo tires are good but my dad just got a full set of nitto terra graplers and he likes them more than the dura grapplers they look nice and ride smooth and have load range e

This is Nitto's. So obnoxiously loud!!
Those are not even in the same category this guy is looking at those are the loudest tires I have ever heard besides boggers.

I think he means the nitto terra grapplers to compare to the toyo ats. I would not recommend the terra grapplers. One of the guys I know ran a set on his F-350 6.4 and he hated them, bad traction and horrible mileage. He didnt even get a full warm season out of them before he switched back to his stockers for winter.

I dont know about the dura grapplers though. for what you are looking for that would probably be your best bet though. I wouldnt do the Trail grapplers they just look cheap to me. You might run a set of dune grapplers just to see how they do.

Thumbs up Toyo guy

I'm on my second set of Toyo At's. I sold my 285-70-17's to a guy in CT and replaced them with 285-75-17 AT which I purchased for next to nothing. These tires have never had less than 2000# extra weight on them from day one. No flats, vibes nothing. My other friend has a 2007 with a flatbed-mounted Phoenix popup on it. With utility cabinets, auxiliary H2O etc wet it weighs 12,000#. Carli Suspension keeps it happy. This guy's Toyo AT's have survived over 1000 miles of intense Baja Pacific coast roads with nary a cut and zero flats. I'm sold. I just wish Toyo'd release a 285-75-17 M-55. I had those on my '98.5 and they rock.
