I too would go with Pro-Comp's. Excellent tire. Always seem to have good bite, and wear very well, even doing burnouts. I also love their buy 3 and get 1 free deal they have every year. Most of their tires come with a 40,000 mile warranty too.
I hated my FC/II's I had. They would get stuck on anything that wasn't pavement, and they did not last long for my driving at all.

I hope he figured something out 3 years ago when he asked the question. Although maybe your guessing he is probably looking for a new set about this time?
Pro Comps are good. I would suggest Dynapro A/Ts from Hankook. Toyos and Nittos are for jeeps and 1/2 tons.
I also think the BFG A/Ts are overrated. I think they clog up way too easy.
