Default 07.5 3500 Dodge Dually Load Range?

I know that Dodge say to put "E" Range tires on my 3500. But do I really have to, if I won't be towing anything? Can i get away with a "D"?

if your not towing or hauling anything heavy "E" not required but are better in many more ways than just hauling
