take a look at the dayton timberline M/T's i had some 265/75/R16 on my 01 dually and got good mileage out of them. i got about 40,000 out of them. just keep them rotated and air in them. i probably could have gotten more but i was hualing a John Deere 650 bulldozer all over the place. so obviously with the weight they wear a little quicker. and they are fairly inexpensive. i think i bought 6 tires for $159.00 each. it was right at $1000 for mounting balancing and the tires

 

Were can I find the timberlines?

 

Had a set of 33 x 12.50 Pro Comp Mud Terrains on my truck before these Extreme A/T's. Got nearly 40,000 miles out of them, but was really **** about rotating them every 3000 miles.

 

DynaPro RT03 MTs... they were super quiet.. and did great in the mud.. havent had a truck long enough to see how long they last.. I had about 30k on a set on my old 1/2ton chebby and still had about 40% left

 

Buckshots rock! They make a little more noise on the street but they wear VERY well and are very affordable! They pull very well in the mud also.

 

BF Goodrich All Terrain is my vote!
I got 50,000 miles out of mine, and they still had a good summer tread left on them.

They are quiet, and they provide a great soft ride.
Besides they are a great set of mud shoes.

The Mud Terrains were only a small bit better in the mud, but not much!
Besides all that, M/T are way too noisy on the road.

 

Interco's M16, but you've got to have $$.
