Yep a lot of guys use Stainless #7 shot, BBs whatever, but you may still have to have the tire balanced laterally IIRC.

The powder has been around for years and works really well too. I've had it in some super swampers and they did well. Most people I know use the air soft pellets instead of the steel BBs.
