I don't have an 05, but if I recall they should fit. They are close to 33" in diameter. I could be mistaken, but I believe I was told that to go to 35" you need a leveler kit, but that 33" will fit.

Sorry, that's the best my memory can do. Hopefully, someone with an 05 and 295/70-17's will chime in.

Thanks guys for all the info. I think I am going to go ahead and get them. NTB (National Tire & Battery) has given me the best price I can find in San Antonio at $ 179 each. $ 968 out the door with mounting, taxes & road hazard warranty.

Actually you can fit 35's without a lift. But you have to use stock rims or ones with close to the same offset iirc. They may rub a little but not bad.

You got it Jim. I got to give it a good bath and clean it up good this weekend (if I can get a break long enough) and get some pics as is. Have some before and after.

Well, I finaly got some new tires. I put on a 2" leveling kit and went with BFG All Terrain KO 315/70/17. Got no rubbing problems with the leveling kit. I will be doing alot of interstate driving between Texas and Florida and some up to Tennesse so I decided to stay with the BFG's and the fact that I got 68k out of the BFG's I just took off. Will take some pictures today and post. Thanks again for the input!
