BTW, now you need to get rid of the rest of the chrome (including the stacks).

hopefully i'm gonna get a cowl hood, a sport grill and front bumper (grill will be black, bumper will be body color, orange) i want some flip out tow mirrors off like an 01-02 truck, and the rear bumper i want to remove and put in a roll pan with a flip down tag and the hitch/reciever hidden behind the tag..... also when i lower it i'm gonna take still use all the springs in the rear.... they will just be re-arranged and some brackets added to make a progressive pack.....

and the stacks will be the only chrome on the truck...... i might satin black them.... i know a powdercoater that can do them since i can't do pieces that big as of now....

dang Ben, your truck looks awesome fo sho.. I think it looks real tough just like it is, sittin level and all.. How bad does it squat when u put a load on the gooseneck? I think it will look very slick once you get it lowered too. and possibly some blacked out stacks.. Nice job bud, and I hate to hear about how the tire shop scratched your wheels and did a bad balance.. Glad you got it fixed.

it is accually about 1-2 inches high in the rear now.... it's parked up a hill.... it squats a little lower than level when towing a car on a tag-along trailer. i have squatted it real bad when i loaded it with mulch, concrete pads and shrubs for my front lawn.

the reason it does that is i have a bad back and the full springs in the back beat me to death. i took the main overload spring (the 1/2-3/4" thick one that is on the bottom of the spring pack) out and it lowered it a little but the ride quality improved 100% + so that is why it squats now.... before towing a 38ft gooseneck car hauler it leveled it out perfect. now it would prolly sag a good bit.
