Default How Do You Peel Chrome Face Off Of Aluminum 3rd Gen Wheels

I cant find a thread i saw eariler in the week where I saw a beautiful grey mega and the owner took the chrome face plate off and painted them black. they looked sweet and i was thinking of doing that to the extra set of wheels i have. I wanted to know what is the easy or best way to do it from someone whom has already? guess i dont want to learn the hard way or screw up a good set of wheels

A guy at work just scuffed his with 300 Grit, put on 6 coats of black, scuffed between each and then did 3 coats of clear...They look AWESOME, and still look in perfect condition after like 2 years....They look like they are powdercoated
