Default Opinion Of Toyo M/T

I'm looking at LT315/75/R16 Toyo Open Country M/T's - thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

Im running my second set of 35's and I swear by them...I have tried many other tires and for me, these are the greatest!

They have come down in price in Canada. This set I put on this week, was almost $50 less than the last set. I am about 80% dirt, gravel, mud and snow. I did drive to Vegas and back with them as well and I dont mind them on the hiway a bit. A little loud, but ok.

I can't hear anything outside the truck running anyway so what's a little road tire noise?

I can't decide between 285's or 315's they will both fit the OEM rim and with the leveling kit they (315) shouldn't be an issue.

I have 285 Yoyo geolanders now and they were purchased in 2004 and now have 70,000 km on them and are really starting to show their age. I made it through this winter and that is about it. Time for something new. I saw the same tire on a lifted dodge today, mind you they were 37's and **** those were huge.

I have them on my truck and I love them. They seem to wear better then BFG MT's and they also seem to keep balance easier. They are also MUCH quieter while on the highway. I cannot tell you how they do in mud, or sand because my truck never leaves the pavement.

I have about 20k on mine and I am pretty sure I will get atleast another 25k.

I ran 285's for one set, and for me, at least on the new body, they seemed too small. I love how the 35 looks, and I get excellent clearance for the field. I am running the 35's with only a levelling kit now and on the last truck too...

very nice.

I have my eye on American Eagle Series 1378 (16x8) but they are a little $$ for me right now.

Those 35's look big on that truck. What are they like with the OEM rims and such as far as rubbing?

Here is the 08...35's on it again, no rubbing at all, and no issues with the stock rims.
