We will have IN-STORE "day of event only" product specials and some great raffle prizes (must be present to sign up, but do not have to be present to win).

We will also be doing a "Virtual Open-House", with discounts on select products. We will not be announcing the VOH items, check out our webstore on October 8th to see what we've come up with.

 

This years Open House is really starting to come together. We've gotten great response from our vendors, much better than last year.

For those that are in the area and can stop by the shop and check out the Open House, we will have some really great Raffle give-a-ways. You will only need to be here to sign up, we will do the raffle drawing early the following week and notify the winners by phone or e-mail...everyone has the same chance of getting their name drawn.

We will also be running a number of OPEN HOUSE ONLY product specials, as well as a VIRTUAL OPEN HOUSE with discounts and specials through our online webstore (for those that are out of state and can't come by the shop). Due to the advertising policies of our vendors, I can't say what we are doing, but check this thread for "discount codes/coupons" and check out the webstore throughout the day on 10/8/11 to see what we've come up with. Just remember...ALL Open House Discounts/Coupons will expire at the end of our Physical Open House. We will try to get the codes enabled and posted early, but once it's over...it's over.

This isn't everything, just a quick update of the major stuff. I'm estimating we're at close to $2000 in raffle give-a-ways right now. Getting down to the wire, not sure what else might show up but we've beat out last years raffle for sure!

Bullet Proof Diesel is in! They are contributing to the raffle and will also be here with us to talk about and show off some of their products!

Its looking like we will have raffle items from Dodge as well now.

We also got confirmation today that we will have BRAND NEW trucks on hand from Ford, Chevrolet and Dodge. The dealerships we work with have each agreed to bring out a new truck and have a rep or sales person on hand to answer any questions. If you haven't had a chance to check out any of the new trucks from the Big-3, this will be a great opportunity to see one from each brand in the same place!

 

First...the bad news...ok, not really "bad" but somewhat disappointing. The hot dog guy backed out on us and nobody else we called was available. Apparently they have somewhere better to be this weekend than our open house. Oh well, we'll just have to do without. We will have lots of free bottled water and maybe some snax of some kind.

On a much more exciting note...

We got raffle items in from Grand Rock today!

Our Snap-On guy really came through for us, donating about $700 worth of really cool stuff for the raffle.

At this point our raffle is approaching about $3000 worth of stuff, we couldn't be happier and everyone that attends the open house and enters the raffle will have a great chance of winning something. We still have to figure out how to break it all up and make up the raffle packages, but I'm betting there will easily be 30-50 different winners based on the prize list. If you are in the Phoenix area and can make it to our open, don't miss the opportunity to enter to win some really cool prizes!

This will probably be my last update before tomorrows event. Just wanted to put up a few reminders...

1. Our Address:

2. The EASTBOUND Loop 101 Freeway is CLOSED from 51st Ave to 7th Ave (our exit) on Saturday. If you are coming from the west side, I would highly recommend making your way to the I-17 instead of trying to use the 101. If you are coming North on the I-17, DO NOT try to take the 101 East, get off at Deer Valley Road, then head east to 7th Ave. Those coming from the east side should be OK, just be aware that they are narrowing the Loop WESTBOUND 101 down to 2 lanes starting at 7th Ave (our exit) so traffic may get backed up. You can get off at 7th Street instead, just head north to Deer Valley Road than then west to 7th Ave. Hope that helps!

3. Parking...our lot will be in use for the Open House so parking will be on the street (Lone Cactus). The owner of SPECTRUM (across the street from us) has graciously offered to allow our customers to park in his lot as well...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not do any burnouts or in any other way damage his property!!! He has been a great neighbor and we'd like to show our respect and appreciation for letting us use his lot.

4. If you are not able to physically make it to our Open House, don't forget to check out our "Virtual Open House" at Strictly Diesel Webstore. We will have a bunch of stuff on sale online TOMORROW ONLY.

5. Our Dodge connection really came through for us! They just delivered the raffle items, (2) Borla exhaust systems and a set of side steps for a Mega Cab truck! We are going to have some HAPPY raffle winners!!!

The Open House has not even started yet and it's clear that we are going to BLOW AWAY last years event. I can't wait for tomorrow!
