oh and if any of you dmax guys want a set of pistons like in Bank's truck, just call Ross Racing Pistons, they keep them in stock with "BANKS" stamped underneath, trickle down.........................................

oh and heres some food for though, no matter how much you like diesels, they all eventually go back to spark plugs......

yep, sorry but they do......

dont see any smoke do ya, thats a 3208 Cat on alky.......how long before these 7 and 6 second drag trucks and 2000 horse pulling trucks are going to want to run alcohol, runs cooler and isnt anywhere as near as hard on parts.

Actually we have some new developments in piston and rod technology for the DMax that has tested very well so far. BUT DONT SAY ANYTHING TO ANYONE...shhhhhhhhh.... Its a sekrut.

why does crower make their rods longer than stock??? along with carillo??? for the DMAX.

if you cut the pistons then make the rod longer your not accomplishing anything......

uuummmm yessir...it's an old racers trick. Shortening the piston reduces lateral and side loading by up to about 30% because of less contact area and mass. It even reduces friction. Now get in there and cut your pistons Logan.

Are you referring to the piston "skirt" or the area above the rings? I'm guessing the skirt....

Above the ring area and typically on the head. It provides more valve to piston clearance to run a hotter cam and also aids in getting more RPM's and getting them quicker if you can remove enough mass.
