it is NOT a power game. i used to do this in ohio with my 6.9. i was in the light class(max6500 lb. i weighted in at 6480) and i did pull agains newer diesels and won. i would let the truck idle in creeper gear in low range. very little tire spining and idle away with them.

also when done wathcing that vid watch the first one listed after it is done. ford f150, 300 straight 6, 4 speed. excavator bucket in bed. wheel hop. will leave it at that

i had a 91 chevy suburban 6.2 2wd with a built trans with big stall conv. that led sled pulled its share of trucks

Agreed. And how about the "yard pull" video. Makes me wonder...standing still, spinning the tires, burning them up for what? What's a good light truck tire cost nowadays? Not to mention the transmission temperature that must have been quite elevated. Oh well. Not my business. Just commenting.

burning them up for over abundance of alcohol!

about $40 ea. new barely driven on take off's and 4 spares at home still

no guages C6 = sloppy and indestructible

what fun is having a truck if you can't beat it like a red headed stepchild now and then?
