once i blow a head gasket my head is heading straight to Palmer Automotive Machine Shop and Phillip is gonna give it the works..... Congrats to a good friend of mine and i hope to see it go faster in the future!!!!!

i talked with him this afternoon. Phil said he first ran the 9.721 @ 139.21 and he had to back it up within 1% or .09721 sec. he then ran the the 9.564 @142.96. that is 1.62% difference. he didn't know if he wanted to slow it down to make the 9.72 pass stick as the record or try it again for the 9.56 pass.... so he hit it and held it and ran a 9.596 @ 143.09 that is a .33% difference of the 9.56 pass and officially made the green machine the worlds fastest diesel pickup and set the new world record.
