Hemi?????

The problem with the HEMI is that it might take over on the top end but his fuel gauge will drop like a rock - enough that when he needs to pull over and fill up you can just steam on by. LOL...
A few years ago I had an unintential road race from Vancouver back to Calgary with a 3500 Chevy Gasser. Every chance he got he blew by me at a very hi rate of speed. He stopped to fill in Kamloops, Revelstoke, Lake Lousie and The Petro Canada just west of Calgary on HWY 1. I never stopped for fuel the entire trip and beat him to Calgary by almost 1 hour!
I love my CTD.

Oh I doubt that because in this case we were both loaded. He had 2 sleds and I had about 1500# of tools. (give or take). Sure he was likely heavier than I but it was just funnier to watch.

I didn't read that in your first post. The Hemi empty with MDS will get just as good if not better milage. I don't know about chev I think they've just come out with that technology this year. they call it something different because it is totally different than Chryslers MDS. Have to brush up a bit
