03 Z06 VS 99 Dodge

that's an awesome video.. i love watching 7000+lb diesel trucks with just over 3000 rpm spanking 7000 rpm gassers...
i've been noticing the same thing.. all the ricers wanna race from a 45 roll here. so i do and most of the time i beat them from a roll. i have only raced from a dig on the street twice. once against my brothers '99 cummins and then against a mustang... taking off in 2nd i spun pretty bad cuz i let off the clutch at 2300 rpm's, but i still pulled on him steadily til about 75.. so i beat some kid in a newer mach 1 mustang and now he won't even rev at me when i see him in town.. haha

My friend has a one ton 12V dually, we were bringing some cars back from El Paso on I 10 one night this summer, speed limit is 80 mph and we were cruising when a snot nose came up and wanted to play, when the Dodge ran out of pedal we were doing 175 according to my PMT. And yes we were towing trailers. Lets not discuss stopping from this speed, or fuel mileage, but we left the kid sniveling in the diesel smoke and acrid desert night air. Its a good thing when the tow rig is faster than the race car it hauls BTW my F250 still had some throttle left. Dont know what the top speed is, but damn its fast!
