around here the only cars that want to run from a roll are high HP supras, cause they can never hook or leave well, FWD imports, same reason as the supra, or a young kid driving daddy's car and can't leave at all w/o spinning......

i also like it when the supra owners around here want to run from a roll from a certain mph to another mph......

example, had a guy want to run me from 80-150 i was like do you see what i drive?

Around here i get the same BS you pull up to race someone and they here your 12v idleing a lil funny and all the sudden its like "lets race from 30 to 40" and I'm like "no lets race from a stop to whenever i kick your ***..." I had some doofus one night pull up and ask me if i wanted to race from 90 to 150 and i was like "dude I'm in a 1 ton cummins with a 4 inch lift. do you think it does 150mph???" He drove away.

 

i do not mind the rolling start since that is what most rices want to do, just to prove a point since the twins spool so fast. but there is nothing like kicking there ***'s from a dig with 25 psi boosted launches. the sound of the proxies spinning in 4WD is pretty sweet too.

 

I like kickin their asses from a stop makes me feel better racin them in a 4 ton truck and spankin the crap out of their 1 ton car.... Just puts a smile on my face and a woody in my pants.

That 99 must have some major "investments"....Not easy to make a 24v that fast is it?(not that I've ever done one)?

Any well prepped P pumped 12v or common rail will stomp on almost any street worthy car....Until you run into a 600 inch big block...then the trouble really starts!

you know ive noticed that...i have a 99.5 6 speed psd and this guy that i used to work with has a 4x4 z71 truck and him and everyone that i worked with including my boss said he would beat me cause i dont have alot of rpms...or whatever so i was like ok then...wanna race and he was like man i dont wanna waste my gas on you i know im going to win so i said to my boss ok then lets go on a break and see what happens...so we raced from a dig and as soon as i took off...it hooked and he never had a chance.....:-D
