I built the gun from a Romy G demilled kit. The receiver needs to be replaced because its cut up to be legally imported (among other parts to make it 922r compliant) there are a few ways to do it, you can rivet the gun back together (factory), screw it (some people complain the screws come lose) or you can weld it (easy, fast, strong). I'm not a purest and this is a beater gun so welding it was my choice.

How is the trigger on it you upgrade it? Also wtf is a romy g? Romanian?

It's an AK trigger...

And yes Romy is Romanian and G stands for Guard.

Ya I've heard they suck! Why not upgrade to a tapco g2 I have one in mine it's nice. They get great reviews as well. There is one other trigger that is better I believe it's called the red star arms. I know it's a lot more then the tapco though.
