Default GSG5/522 - Who has one?

I just ordered one up for myself. I've noticed when out shooting I have just as much fun with the 10/22 as anything so when it came time for a practical cheap to shoot gun the GSG was a shoe in.

I've already ordered a new stock, front rail system, and fore grip. I'm going to apply for a SBR stamp and run my suppresor on it instead of the fake can it comes with. Not sure on the optic yet. It will be some knock off red dot I'm sure. Should be a fun gun and very cheap to shoot.

Here's my insperation for my build. That stock will colapse all the way the the rear of the reciever.

So anyone else have one?

Yep, have a 1st generation one, put a different stock on it and a el cheapo red dot & it's a great little shooter!

Don't do the MP5 slap, the bolt is not strong enough, unless they have improved the newer ones..

Which stocks were yall using? Seems like most people use the classic army airsoft stock. It has metal rails and a metal end cap.

This thing is just plain fun as hell to shoot! Mine came with the 110 round drum and a 22 round mag. The stock leaves alot to be desired but it is fun as hell. I smiled the whole time I was shooting it, then smiled more when I realized I was not spending $200 in ammo to shoot.

It is quite a bit louder then my 10/22. I need to fill out my paperwork to SBR it and attach my suppressor when it comes in.

Put a whole 550 box of federal through this thing today. What a F-ing blast, All we could do is giggle and laugh. No issues gun related just the typical Bulk .22 issues on 2 or 3 rounds.

I have one of the originals. I have no idea how many bricks of ammo have gone through it, but I'll never sell it
