There are some decents guns out there with hard-to-find holster fitment...CZ 75 and Blackhawk Serpa for example..but anyways...

IWB--I go with the cheap Uncle Mikey's felt/suede one. It's comfy and works even on my fatness.

OWB--Blackhawk Serpa, or Galco shoulder rig depending on what I'm wearing. For a belt, just read what Rampy said.

depending on what type of holster you want, Galco and DeSantis both make holsters that fit the ADP, just to name a couple....

Rampy is not exactly slim and trim any more....and the CTAC works most nice on his..."love handles"

Aywhoo...Rampy has spent more on holsters than many have on guns...trying to find what works...and what does not work....and is not a fan of the one holster fits many concept...or the uncle mikes...Rampy refuses to put a $600 pistol in a cheap $30 holster...that's just asking for problems...

The CZ75 is a excellent pistol....

Galco is good stuff...I've got a original Jackass holster around here someplace...(Jackass holsters was what Galco was called before they changed the name) & I picked it up new...for a 1911...and found out right away about how hard it was to re ulster a pistol after the holster mouth collapsed...but they make some superb shoulder rigs...

However, the blackhawk serpa is a total piece of ****...more and more police departments are banning them, more and more quality trainers and ranges are banning them...that's all called clues for a reason...they jam in snow, they set you up to pull the bang switch with your booger hooker...they break...they are just plain a bad design....

But hey, we all know how outspoken Rampy is..

CTAC's are nice, just don't see any need to replace what is working, particularly when more LE that *I personally know* (not saying this is gospel, just clarifying) use the Uncle Mikey than the CTAC for off duty IWBCC, but maybe I live in Barney Fife town. That's okay too though cuz I haven't had to play army in my neighborhood yet.

I know

I've heard some of the Jackass jokes. My rig is older but works. I use the same straps and just change out the holster for my choice in weaponry that day. I actually wear the shoulder rig more than the IWB holster.

Am getting a custom belt rig for Xmas...should be fun.

Bah humbug...Ayoob Stressfire...is it accidental discharge or negligent discharge? Jamming in the snow like walking in the snow or pretending they're a burrowing honey badger in the snow while playing army in the back 40?

But then of course back before retention holsters the scare was the gun falling out of the crappy old leather "bag" and hitting the ground hammer first and launching a ricocheting projectile of death that would take out two dozen 4th graders AND their puppy before it hit the old lady in the leg and the cop in the nuts.....

We will agree to disagree on this one....

I have a CB Supertuck, all the top line holsters are comfortable, I feel the CB is a tad bit more for me though because of all the leather to spread the weight out and help eliminate pressure points.

You wont go wrong with any of them.

Here we go again...the "cops" use it so it's got to be good....

Most cops are not gun guys...and they use what's cheap or issued and when it comes to issue most cop departments issue cheap crap cuz it's cheap...and they can stretch the beans further...

Do you drive a Volkswagen Karmann Ghia ...have you upgraded your vehicle...or cuz "it works" you are still driving the same vehicle you did 30 years ago...

Ba humbug all you want, stick your head in the sand all you want...run and hid from the simple fact the blackhawk holster is a piece of junk, cheaply made and has serious design flaws...

It's people like you that are emotionally invested in a hunk of plastic, who refuse to seeand understand, who allow emotion to guide gear purchases...who end up getting hurt and/or get others hurt viz bad advice...

CTAC doesnt make one for the sig 2022 So i guess im going to go with the crossbreed supertuck. Im also going to get there gun belt. Should i consider a mag carrier as well? I guess i cant carry if i tuck in a nice button down? I need a smaller gun??

Also ramp come on i gotta here what you think of my Sig. Your opinions are so honest .

What do yall think of this holster?

I have the Bianchi Ranger belt. I wear it everyday, even when I'm not carrying. I love it. I do wish it was a little bit thicker, but the 1.75" width helps distribute my guns weight pretty good.

I don't have my permit yet so I haven't really looked into CC holsters much, but I know I'll probably go with either the Supertuck or maybe a Kholster when I get my permit and start carrying concealed. Right now I use a leather thumb break pancake holster made by Blackhawk for OWB carry, or occasionally my Serpa. The ONLY reason I changed from my Serpa to the leather was for comfort. My Serpa is the paddle version and having that plastic digging into my side for a good part of the day was getting really uncomfortable. I'm not even going to get into the argument about Serpa's being junk or not.

Good luck!

SIG SAUER «
You can tuck in your shirt with the CB, alot of the IWB allow you too.

The CB is well worth the wait. Also spring for the Horsehide over the leather.

That holster looks like it would work. One clip is not gonna spread out the weight as much as the rigs with two. With my B, and I imagine Rampy will say the same about his CTAC, you don't feel the weight of the gun at all pulling your pants down.

Took the test today scored perfect on the range which was easy. Some of those guys were all over the place its like wtf?? Run some rounds before you take the class. Most had those tiny 380 pocket pistols maybe good for 5ft imo. Some brought guns they just bought the day before and it was there FIRST handgun ever. Took the written missed 2. I learned alot about the laws. Basically if a bad guy is using deadly force on you that is the only time you can put him down with your pistol. The rest you can avoid. It wasnt what i thought it was gonna be thats for sure. The instructors told me especially since im young and in shape the lawyers will bring that up in court if i do happen to shoot someone. They will ask why i didnt just stop him without shooting. I think thats a bunch of bs.

Im glad i got the license but im not that gung ho about carrying as i was before the class. I may as well still throw down if a situation arises and forget the gun.

On a better note i ordered a stainless steel guide rod for my 2022 since the stock is plastic......
