That's not the rifle you got....it's a much better one....

And the scope you got....is not exactly a high end accurate S&B or NightForce....hell, it's about as cheap as a scope and under powered for a 50 as you can get, bet it does not even hold up to a box test...

In a humerus way:

Gunman, i think you have a problem. This isn't the first thread of yours stating you bought a firearm that you don't know why. In part, I envy you. On the other hand, I can think of so many other things the money could go to. I believe an intervention is necessary.

Yep he has a issue, he buys guns cheap thinking they are worth more than he paid for em & does not do his homework on em...

It's sort of funny in a sad way....ya can't help but feel sorry for him...

Money in my pocket, gives me an itch As for the scope, I have a BURRIS BLACK DIAMOND 8-32x50 that I will use & I'll find another scope for the McMILLAN 300 WIN. MAG

Hmmm.....$2,900 starting bid, 7 day auction, on the largest and most used firearms auction site of the internet.

You were the first and only bidder....I'd say you either paid market price or perhaps a touch higher than market price.

They're nice rifles, but only single shots, and a bit bulky & heavy for a single shot.

Not a great deal, but much, much better than paying retail for it, as IMHO anything with a McMillan name on it is overpriced by a good bit.

I don't believe they are a union shop, either...

MCMILLAN 50BMG/ 50 BMG BIG MAC! : Bolt Action at GunBroker.com
I'm sorry but this is the first time I have ever heard someone bothered by the fact that they bought a 50bmg anything//just sayin///
Also the benifit of the Barret semiauto is the quick target reaquisition compared to a bolt gun, much less if you have a unfriendly vehicle uproaching at high speed its nice to know that you can empty the mag as quick as you can pull the trigger, I don't care how good you are with a bolt gun you can't compare!!!!!!!! I am a union man too, that is why I can afford my toys, unfortunately guns and unions are on differet sides of the aisle but OH WELL, not many manufactures will be union because of the politics involved, our local even has a shooting team. I prefer to buy american made arms for the fact that Americans made them. I am thinkin of getting a 50bmg barret myself, probably the bolt instead of the semiauto cuz I could buy 2 for the price of one s-auto
