Default Browning Auto 5...

Anyone have one? I just aquired one, not a big auto fan but plan on throwing a few rounds thru it tomorrow.

Great guns! My father in law has an old belgum made auto 5 that has never been loaded let alone shot. Still in the box it came in.

They are great guns. My grandpa has a 12ga. a 20ga. in 3"mag, and a 2 3/4" 20ga. They all have killed countless dove, ducks, geese, bobwhite, and turkey.

they are very good shotguns my pops has 6 of them plus other brands made off the browning A5 pat. I have two and a savage 16 ga. made off that pat. and the boy has one also. a browning A5 with a 30" full choke barrel is a deer killing mach. when run'n dogs.

I shoot trap, and thats about it.

I'll have to grab it tomorrow and see if its jap or belgium made...

They're great guns. That John M. Browning really knew how to build a gun.

the older one's were great, the newer ones not so much.

Even teh jap made guns are great guns.

newer? They have been out of production since '98.

Never seen or shot one I didn't like. They all shot great.
