I know i'm preach'n to the choir,but I could give a fly'n F_ _ _ less about a bear. That poor guy will probably have to pay a BIG fine,and maybe spend a little time in jail just for protecting his family. IT REALLY PISSESME OFF!!!! Sorry gunman had to vent a little.

Normally I would say how stupid this is but I can see one point, if the DNR didn't at least give him a ticket that would meen that they are judge and jury by letting the guy off/ which I would have done/ but with a jury trial, what one hour? it will be laughed out of court and it may make them change the law so that they have the authority to not give a ticket when it doesn't make sense, personally I would have shot all three and we would of had one hell of a roast for Labor day, now don't jump on me, just trying to see the other side of it, that is why I hunt where the DNR does't dare go, but I do it legally because I am just that kind of person.......... My dad just said today on the subject of re-introduced predators, "Our for-fathers worked very hard to get rid of the Damn things, WE don't need to bring them back, they are doing it on their own, and they will get shot again". That being said, I would still love a chance to go on a "large predator" hunt.
