they are like 3 bucks a pop. keep a couple on hand. If a mag starts to cause jams, FTF then just replace the spring.

Cops/military keep there berettas loaded 100% of the time. Think about it.
I don't know how cops do it. I would imagine that they unload the mags unless they are on duty. Either way. I keep my glock mags full 100% of the time. I've had it for 7 years or so. Never had a misfeed. Also, according to the glock manual, it says they design the mags so they can remain loaded full time.

Nah, cops only empty there mags when they are qualifying, or refreshing ammo. of course they only refresh ammo every 6 months. And qualify twice a year

Glock springs are generally superior. Thats why so many builders use them in projects. like ak blowback builds..lots of those guys use glock main springs because they are flat, thusly shorter.

Any spring will sack out...eventually. But ive never had an issue either. My 1911's stay loaded 24/7 and are shot about twice a month at least. Never any issues.

Wolff makes nice springs, so if you were ever in doubt. Thats who id call.

Guns are mechanical devices. They need maintenance just like your truck does.

Petroleum oils dry out, which can make the gun sticky. Berettas will run dirty. just not dry.

Glocks have suck a low instance of interference, because of how they are designed, they will run dry, dirty, whatever. There just isnt much contact between the slide and the frame rails. As where the beretta has a full length rail.

keep it wet, it will run

if your mag spring is shot, the gun will start to jam on the last round, not the first. So if you start gettin jams on that last shot...you know where to look.

Glock springs are superior....talk about a crock of slimey worm filled dog poo and anybody that believes that crap....

When a mag spring get's week you can have a entire range of problems from the 1st round to the last or anywhere inbetween depending on all kinds of factors...

Do some research & not all on a diesel truck site about guns & springs...so much fail and bad info coming from diesel truck owners on guns.......

It's not keeping springs compressed that weakens em, it's when ya cycle em, compress & release, compress and release..that's what weakens em.

I've shot Beretta 92F mags that were loaded for over 10 years without any problems, shot a 1911 mag that was loaded since the late 50's and it ran great as did the old ammo...I've got mags that have been loaded since the late 80's and they will work great if/when I finally shoot them....or if I keep em in "storage" they will last another 50 years...and then cycle great.

You will have zero problems keeping your mags loaded for years as long as the mag itself is in good condition, no bent feed lips, spring was GTG when ya loaded it...

Being compressed or not compressed wont wear out a spring. Constant cycling will. Think about it. Do teh springs on your truck go bad from just sitting? Nope, driving and bouceing down the road is what gets em.
