open carry in your area will get one thrown in jail, especially if it's a hi cap mag or scary black rifle. Denver is a liberal bastion full of anti gunners.

However, here even under marshal law ypou wouold see the people armed in public openly carrying as the criminals don't run things

no seriously though. i believe it is bound to happen sooner or later. my philosophy is better to be preparred for the worst and look like an *** when nothing happens, then to not prepare and look like an ***. i have certain supplies i keep around at all times for things that happen.
