Went fishing Friday morning the guy I was going with blew me off (4 am start might be why) so I went alone in my 20' center console.Was fishing south east corner of Stellwagon bank 5-6 miles off P-town with frozen herring,one on the bottom one on a baloon with 10-12' of line.After getting harrased by dogfish for a while I pulled the baits off the bottom I started pulling the anchor with the floating bait still in the water went tick-tick tick then tick -tick -tick-tick so I tied off the anchor only half way up when z.One hour and ten minuts later I had a 14-16 about 800-1000 lb Great White shark beside the boat.Put the rod in the holder and as I went for my phone to take pictures she death rolled up the line and broke off.Never been so scared fishing (all alone) in my life.Dont swim in Mass. if its salt water I never will again,Iv seen too much.
