The article pretty much is a study of SD shootings. Pretty much says that its all equal in the field as far as stopping threats.

Just finished reading it....interesting...not exactly in line with what I've seen for shootings...and I'm not quite sure what the shotgun has to say...but it is interesting that's for sure...

Just one more look at it. FWIW I don't take any "studys" to heart, you can pretty much twist it anyway you want to make your opinion come out on top. You never know who is trying to skew the results there way.

Sounds like it is more important to hit what you are aiming at no matter if you are using a bazooka or throwing stones!

i also find it difficult to believe a .22 is more capable of incapacitating than a .44 MAGNUM. i've worked for serve pro for years and we get a lot of calls to clean up suicides and next to the ultra messy shotgun, .44 mag was the next most popular caliber we came across and about half the time the son's of bitches blew the same amount off. i just don't see how a .22 is a better stoper. anybody know how?
