HI BOBBY, There is a GUNSMITH that will put a FRAME MOUNTED SAFETY on a glock for $125 I have 7 GLOCKs, the 23 is my favorite cause it's a small gun with a full size grip, 13+1 rounds & you can just drop-in a GLOCK 357 barrel & shoot 357 SIG ammo !!! The 357 SIG ammo will push a 125 grain bullet to 1400 FPS

so he is making a Glock function like a Springfield XD? why not just buy an XD to begin with if you want that added safety

or does he just put the basic slide lock safety that will disable the trigger and lock the slide?

I'm a 1911 guy, but will carry most brand name gun that has a frame mounted safety, The gunsmith adds a frame mount safety on the GLOCK, it was in a MAGAZINE.

I'm not worried, I will be checking my casses for reloads alot closer though. This is one of the standard FBI issue guns (other being the Glock 22).

Why ruin a Glock? Even if it di have an external safety I would not carry with it engaged. Never have on any of my other hand guns. About the only gun I can think of that I would carry with the external safety on is a 1911.

While I like the .357 round alot and may get a barrel and carry this thing hunting as a back up I think I'll get a 9mm conversion first for some cheap plinking.

I have some GLOCK BARREL conversions, I have LONE WOLF, FIRE DRAGON(EKF) & BAR-STO if you use one of these barrels, then you can shoot lead out of your GLOCK.

I can shoot lead now, just have to watch it closely for build up as it will occur faster then other style barrels, that aside, I have no desire to run lead anyway.

How you like your Lone wolfs?

Put about 250 rounds through the Glock today... God this gun is great!

Also shoot some Practical Pistol with it
