everybody has there gun that works the best, but i think that there are many glock copies, but glock still sells the same gun when first introduced and my dealer told me that they had problems with the xdm lasting through the long term. I dont think the xdm is a bad gun there are just so many choices. Now you can take a glock,h&k,springfield,s&w,tarus,and a few others and they disasemble the same and look the same.

hmmm we have a range that rents but they only keep 3 pistols a month and there usualy shit big old long bastards like a S&W highway patrol special .357 mag or a ruger 22 full size :s:

when i pick up tranny if range is close i can let you shoot a sig229,h&kcompact/p7m10,glock23/27, but you buy ammo. and im very seriouse about safety.

Any anybody that thinks glock pistols are superb, all that and a bag of chips...they best thing they have going for them is marketing...gastion glock was a genius when he sold them to cops dirt cheap, he knew the gun owners in America would drool and go after anything the cops carry...thus he gave the leo bean counters deals on pistols they could not pass up...all but giving them away knowing the public would drool all over em...and he was right...only reason so many cops carry glocks is due to the department getting them so cheap...they save money....

look at the number of moving parts, the more parts you have that move the more chances of problems. They are overpriced and have had issues reliability wise...and are not made in America..& come with cheap plastic crap for holsters/mag pouch...

Not to mention big, bulky, a pain in the ass to conceal & are just not a quality pistol.

It's easier to conceal a full sized 1911 than it is to conceal a full sized XD & it's even easier to conceal a full sized 1911 than it is to conceal a compact XD...

At one time I wanted a XD, but the more I played with them, the more I learned and the more I used the old brain the less I liked em....but I do have a Springfield TRP and it's the shit..

Smith & Wesson M&P's are way better pistols than the XD.....or the Glock...

I carried a 92FS for 16/17 years, all over the world, concealed in civvies and concealed/open when in uniform & while it's a big pistol, it's extremly accurate, extremly reliable & if you know what you are doing easy to conceal & fast & easy to deploy...

Tel ya what quick draw.....you and your XD, me and my 92FS each concealed under a shirt in each in a Comp-Tac CTAC holster & target @ 50 yards....

1st 3 shots on target count (10" paper plate) fastest wins....then a 2x2x2 at 20 feet and a 3x3x3 at 7......

I shoot a glock better then any other pistol. Its the BEST gun for ME! You also cant take away the fact that it is pretty much indestructible and will go bang any time you pull the trigger. Not saying other wont and not saying that there are not uns that are close to if no just as good as the Glock. Your making it sound like the glock is a POS. :U:

Been looking for a holster for the M&P9 as I want something different than the CTAC's I've been using.

Atomic Dog Holsters and/or the Secret City Weaponeers K-25 Holster look like front runners for now...the K25 has a radical 25* cant & optimized for 4 O'clock carry & I normally position the CTAC between 4-5

I dont think for the price I went wrong I mean I got a gun that normally sells (in dumb ass ca) for 907.00 out the door and picked it up for 531.00 OTD I actually wanted a smaller "pocket" pistol but besides the $600 beretta .32 and the $830 Karr .380 they did not have much and when I saw that price on that sig i jumped on it did not even get to hold it first just said I want that lets do some paperwork lol

also Rick how much bigger are you getting your pants with that ctac holster and a mag? I went up 2 sizes when carrying my 1911 IWB and that holster looks thicker than my 1911

$531 is not a bad price for a 239, not at all & they are a superb pistol, I love mine. The CTAC is a really think holster in the scheme of things, if you carry a full sized 1911 IWB you will have no problems with a 239 in a CTAC. That's one of the things I really like about the CTAC, how it's attached & sits, you not only have all kinds of adjustment options but it's uber thin...

As for the glocks going bang when you dont want them to, I have been around glocks for pretty much my whole life, I learned to shoot a pistol using my ole mans duty glocks. I have never once seen a glock not fire, or fire when you didnt want it to. Its not a gun issues to me, its a gun safety issue. As we all know, there is no external safety, so unless you tend to shoot the weapon, keep your finger off the dang trigger. its that simple.

Apparently it is not that simple to design a trigger which cannot be pulled by anything except the index finger of an intending shooter.

There was a local guy here last summer shot hiself in the abdomen while not quite successfully attempting to holster his Glock. Caught on his belt or shirt or some stupid shyt. Dumbass. :argh:

I would almost put money on he had his finger on the trigger while holstering and it caught the holster on the way in. Lots of ND's that way. Had a guy in another hunt club last year shoot a hole in hos floor board because he had his hand on teh trigger when he snatch his gun out and didn't have the safety on. KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF TEH TRIGGER UNTIL YOU ARE READY TO SHOOT!!!

I put thousands of rounds down my guns every year, probably 15,000 a year easy all combined. I never have had a ND. I carry every day, usually a Glock. Even when I have something other then my Glock in my waist band it is carried safety off ready to go. Wonderful thing called a holster keeps the trigger from being pulled when I don't want it to go off.

so I like the catc the only thing I dont like is since I am a fat guy it rubs my thigh and pisses me off lol I am taking it to the local leather smith and having him cover the side that touches my body in cowhide then cover that with mink fur so it wont sweat and it will be soft, I also bought a a crossbreed so we shall see what works better with the catc and a mag pouch all IWB I can conceal with a tight T shirt and a Loose T shirt even tucked in!!
